Kadaun's Lusts du Jour...

My friend, Kat's new blog. Her focus? Handsome celebrity gents, so go have a look. She does some great graphic work.

Which is wonderful medicine for some minor irritants of life, as is retail therapy. Plus she put in a plug for a romance reading/writing list we have, the Lion and Thistle.

Picked up Diana DeGarmo's CD at WalMart this morning. So far it seems a bit on the teenybopper side for me, but her "Don't Cry Out Loud" is wonderful, and "Emotional," well, with a title like that, how could I not? Besides, my Fantasia CD was lonely.

Not much planned for the day, though it is rotation day for the freebies at The Sims Resource, and I am plotting what I want to do for my Sims2 time tonigh. I make no apologies for the fact that I love when Sims2 toddlers pitch a fit in their crib.

Hi Anna,
The way I read you talk about the sims makes me want to re-install it on my computer and go out and buy the Sims II ( have to admitt, I was looking at when I went with my hubby to Best Buy tonight ;-).) but then again, the reason why I took it off was because it was too darn addictive and I wasn't getting anything done. Oh and I was just on the Arabella site tonight & it's official, the magazine is belly-up *sigh* but you are a talented lady & I'm certain you can find a home for Tommy someplace else. As for me, I always did thik Mojave Rose, the story I submitted would make an excellent full-length so maybe this is a sign?

Sims can be addictive, so I've had to discipline myself. No simming at all until I've written, and Sims2 is on the home computer, not the office one. It's a wonderful carrot to dangle in front of myself, especially when I can trade content with friends.

Sigh on Arabella. As my mother always said, if God closes a door, He opens a window. There will be other venues for us poor Arabella orphans.

Thanks for sharing my blog link, Anna! I hope others who stop here will stop there and take a look, and maybe even post a comment or two!

While I'm here, I think I'll read some of your earlier posts. We don't email each other often enough, so I guess I'll have to check here to see what you're up to!
