I would cross my fingers, but that would make typing difficult

Awe-Struck has asked for a full ms on Orphans in the Storm, my English Civil War historical romance. Getting that spiffed up to send in and hope for good news soon.

In the meantime, I'm still running off fumes from getting to see the So You Think You Can Dance tour last night. Beautiful, stunning, inspiring, fun and amazing are not enough words to describe the experience. I can honestly say that seeing Hok and Jaimie's "Chairman's Waltz" hummingbird and flower dance live is one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen. If I can get that kind of passion and beauty and art on the page, I will be extremely satisfied.

Holy crap, I am so jealous!! I love SYTYCD. Did Kam and Lacey do their contemp? *swoon*

Congrats on the full request! That's awesome news :)

Carrie, Kam and Lacey did do their contemp routine, and swoon is exactly the right word. I have that favorited on YouTube, watch it frequently and never get tired of it, but in person, well, ::thud:: Superswoon. Ten times more moving (pardon the pun.) There's a whole story right in that dance. I may have to explore it someday.

Also, the pure beauty of Danny's performances, seen live, is amazing. That young man is going to go faaaaaaaaaaaaar.

The season really is over now that I've seen the live show, but I'm sure it's not the last time I'll see any of those guys live; the whole vibe is amazing. As soon as the show was over, I turned to my friend and said "same time next year?" I'm sure next year will be great as well, and hey, Danny and Travis's mom still has three more sons to send out there.

Did you watch Dancing With the Stars last night? That's another addiction.
